Members of the co-operative housing movement from across Ireland attended the Annual General Meeting of NABCO in Dublin on 13th December. Attendees included members from co-operative housing developments in Dublin, Munster, Kildare and Connacht.
At the AGM, President of NABCO Mr. Declan Hudson launched the Annual Report which highlighted the large number of activities that had taken pace in the context of NABCO’s 40th Anniversary in 2013.
The AGM also included a discussion of the Association’s forthcoming strategic plan for 2015-2020, as well as the election of two new representative members from NABCO Dublin West to the national Board.
Finally, the AGM heard a presentation of the outcomes of the CoopStarter project developing support for new co-operative businesses. CoopStarter is a project bringing together co-operative development organisation from six countries across Europe.
