Co-operative Housing Ireland, the national federation for co-operative housing, published its annual report at its Annual General Meeting in Dublin on Saturday. The report highlights some of the key successes of 2015 including the delivery of more than 100 new homes in Dublin and Munster as well as the opening of a new co-operative society in Leinster.
The Annual General Meeting is the primary democratic focus of the co-operative and is attended by representative delegates from local housing co-operatives. At this year’s AGM, a number of new members were elected to the Board. John Power joins from Loughlinstown home ownership co-op, Kim Olin and Noel Pocock join from Dublin City, and Graham Lightfoot joins from Cloughjordan Co-Housing.
