Co-operative Equity Share Model proposed to tackle unsold housing crisis

Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI), today presented new proposals for addressing Ireland’s housing crisis to Minister for Housing and Planning, Jan O’Sullivan.

At the official opening of the new Riverside Housing Co-operative in Loughlinstown, County Dublin performed by the Minister, CHI’s Chief Executive, Niall O’Keeffe presented a new Co-operative Equity Share proposal that would create opportunities to start tackling unsold and unfinished housing while promoting a sustainable housing market and addressing housing need.
