Following on from ‘Housing Ourselves Co-operatively’ held in October 2015 and a Co-Housing Salon hosted in October 2016 Cultivate co-operative are hosting a conference to bring together people with an interest or involvement in co-operative housing, co-living projects, community land trusts, community development, planning, green building and social finance to look at how we can make a community-led approach to housing a reality.
The event will incorporate inspiring stories of housing and community pioneers from Ireland and the UK and facilitated conversations amongst participants with the aim of progressing a vision of a new approach to housing ourselves.
The event looks at topical issues such as:
Contributors include John Masterson, Head of Finance at Co-operative Housing Ireland, Davie Philip of Cloughjordan Co-housing, and Hugh Brennan from O Cualann Co-housing.
