Covid-19 Update – 19th March – Member Communication – please read

Dear Member,

We are doing our best to restrict the spread of Covid-19 whilst at the same time maintaining a service to our members. We are practicing Social Distancing which means that there are a few changes to the way we work.

• At the moment our offices are not open for walk-in queries.
• If you need to contact us, please call 01 6403074, your local office or email [email protected] and we will endeavour to be of assistance. Your Housing Officer continues to be available to you.
• We will be giving priority to emergency and urgent repairs. Other repairs will be addressed as soon as we can.

How can you help?
• Practice social distancing as advised by the government.
• If you can, check on other co-operative members who may be living alone or be in need of help. Remember to keep your distance to keep everyone as safe as possible. If you cannot help, please draw the situation to the attention of other members or CHI staff.
• Only contact us with urgent repairs. We will return to attending routine repairs when the situation allows.
• Call 999 or 112 in emergencies if there is a danger to life or property.
• Return your pink and yellow Rent Assessment forms as early as possible so that staff can complete your 2020 rent calculation.
• If you have temporarily lost your employment contact your Housing Officer as soon as possible.

We have included some other numbers that might be useful for you at this time. We thank you all for your co-operation during a time that is difficult for all of us. We wish you and your family well as we face this challenge together.

Kind regards,
The Management and Staff of Co-operative Housing Ireland
