Covid-19 update to Members

Dear Member,
As you are aware Covid-19 is still active in the community and level 5 restrictions apply to all counties until 31 January 2021. These actions are being taken to protect our whole community.

Our Offices remain closed, but we are still actively supporting members:
• If you need us, please call your local office. You can also email [email protected]

• Remember, you can contact your Housing Officer by phone.

• Please note that due to level 5+ restrictions, CHI will only be able to carry out emergency repairs.

How can you help?
• Keep to the restrictions advised by the government, see https://www2.hse.ie/coronavirus/.
• If you can, check on other co-operative members who may be cocooning, living alone or need help. Remember to keep your distance – this protects you and others you meet.
• If you know someone who needs help, please let us know and we’ll do our best to support them.
• Due to level 5+ restrictions, only emergency repairs can be carried out at this time. A member of staff will call you to carry out a Covid-19 risk assessment before a contractor can be assigned to any repairs.
• Locate the stopcock in your home NOW so you can turn off the water in the case of a flood.
• Call 999 or 112 in emergencies if there is a danger to life or property.
• If you have lost your employment, contact your Housing Officer as soon as possible so your rent can be adjusted.

We have again included some other numbers that might be useful for you at this time. We thank you all for your co-operation during a time that is difficult for all of us. We wish you and your family well as we face this challenge together.

Kind regards,
The Management and Staff of Co-operative Housing Ireland
