The Clerical Officer will support provide administrative support to the Member Services Team within CHI and play a significant role in the delivering a high-quality service to CHI’s members. This is a multi-faceted role that will involve engaging with many internal and external stakeholders. The post-holder will contribute to cost control, work programming, complaint management as well as the processing of reports regarding repairs, maintenance and rent arrears.

CHI is seeking someone with a successful record of processing key documentation in a fast-paced environment. Specifically, the successful candidate will have experience working within a team in an office setting and will possess exceptional administrative and organisational skills. A high level of accuracy and competence in data entry is essential for this position.

About Co-operative Housing Ireland 

Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national federation for the co-operative housing movement. Founded in 1973, CHI has supported the provision of homes across the country and promoted the development of affiliated local co-operative societies across Ireland. CHI currently employs approximately 80 staff and is responsible for the management of more than 2,750 homes through a network of local co-operatives.

Co-operative Housing Ireland have established a new Member Services Hub in Avondale, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 to serve the needs of CHI’s members in Dublin and other areas of the country. To support this Hub, the organisation wishes to recruit a Clerical Officer. This is a new position that will involve working in co-operation with the wider Member Services Team to provide a high-quality service to CHI’s member tenants.
