As the national representative body for the co-operative housing movement, Co-operative Housing Ireland works across a variety of areas and in a number of different locations in Ireland. We are dedicated to the continuous improvement of our systems and to contributing to the development of national housing policy. In the development of our policies, we actively seek out input, feedback and suggestions from stakeholders, members and staff, informed by our Values, Vision and Mission as an organisation.

Co-operatives are based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. Co-op members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.

Our vision is of an Ireland where everyone has the option to participate fully in their own and the wider community's social, economic, and environmental development through co-operation.

Our mission is to lead the development of social, economic, and environmental sustainability in Ireland through co-operative effort and the provision of co-operative housing in particular.
