Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is changing so we can improve the services delivered to people who live in CHI homes. Within the coming months, CHI will roll out a specialist structure in the Housing Services and Community Engagement Division that provides greater consistency in service delivery across CHI’s housing.  Within CHI, staff will develop specialist skills to maximise the impact of our housing services. 

From Monday 3rd July, our services will be delivered from three specialist teams:

Neighbourhood Team will provide tenancy and estate management in addition to allocations and lettings. Our Neighbourhood Specialists (previously known as Housing Officers) will be the face of CHI in our communities and will be the first point of contact.

‍Income and Financial Inclusion Team will deliver effective rent and sundry debt income collection and arrears management. We will broaden our income management work to not only focus on rent income collection and arrears management, but also how we can support you with money related matters.

Safer Neighbourhoods Team will support anyone experiencing anti-social behaviour (ASB) or domestic abuse. The focus will be on prevention of ASB as well as responding to incidents of ASB.

Our community engagement activities will not be affected and our reach into our neighbourhoods, supporting events and initiatives, will continue to grow. Similarly, these changes do not affect how repairs are reported or managed.
